1. Scope
These terms govern access to the ChatAssist24 website, use of its public demonstration and general information about the WordPress plugin. The Free, Premium and Pro plans are described on the Pricing page. They do not by themselves constitute a paid contract.
2. Free version and demonstration
The Free version, where downloadable, is supplied according to its applicable software licence. The demonstration is provided for evaluation with fictional products, orders, messages and statistics. Do not enter real customer information or payment details. The demo may reset and does not preserve commercial transactions.
3. Future paid offers
Paid checkout and Freemius licensing are not yet configured. Before any purchase is enabled, the checkout must disclose the product and key functionality; total price including applicable taxes; licence term and number of permitted installations; renewal method and frequency, if any; payment method; activation and update conditions; customer support; the provider involved in contracting; and any applicable withdrawal and refund policy.
No payment is due merely for browsing the website or testing its demo. Any later contractual terms will be presented before an order is placed and confirmed as required by law.
4. Software and open-source rights
ChatAssist24 is designed for WordPress and, for some functions, WooCommerce. Specific software components are subject to their own licence notices. Rights conferred by the GPL or any other applicable open-source licence—including copying, modification and redistribution where permitted—are not restricted by these commercial terms. Brand names, logos, licence-validation services, hosted infrastructure and any support or update subscriptions may be subject to separate lawful conditions.
5. Requirements, installation and compatibility
Some features require active WordPress or WooCommerce components, suitable hosting and supported software versions. Exact requirements must be stated with the distributed version and kept current. No software can be guaranteed to work with every third-party theme or plugin; this does not waive statutory conformity remedies applicable to consumers.
6. Support and updates
Scope, response channels and any priority assistance will be described for each active plan. Custom development, design, configuration, installation and consulting are not included unless specifically agreed. Any contractual obligation to provide updates, including necessary security and conformity updates for consumers, remains governed by applicable law.
7. Digital-content withdrawal rights
Where a consumer concludes a paid distance contract, statutory withdrawal rights apply according to the law governing that transaction. In the EU, the ordinary period may be 14 days. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, loss of that right requires the conditions laid down by law, including prior express consent to immediate supply, acknowledgement of the loss of withdrawal where applicable, and contractual confirmation. Downloading alone must not be treated as an automatic waiver.
8. Refunds and renewals
No additional voluntary refund guarantee or automatic-renewal commitment is currently offered through an enabled checkout on this website. Before launching sales, the final refund policy and any recurring-billing terms will be published, coordinated with the payment provider and shown prior to purchase. This does not restrict statutory withdrawal, conformity or reimbursement rights. Where recurring billing is offered, cancellation procedures, the applicable renewal price and terms must be clearly disclosed; uninstalling the plugin does not itself cancel a contractual subscription.
9. Prohibited use and security
Visitors must not use the website or demo unlawfully, access restricted systems without authorization, submit harmful code or attempt to obtain other customers’ data. Technical measures may be applied proportionately to protect the service.
10. Intellectual property and liability
Copyright, trademark and other protected rights belong to their respective owners subject to applicable open-source licences and legal exceptions. The provider is not responsible for misuse or external services outside reasonable control, but nothing excludes responsibility that cannot legally be limited or statutory consumer protections.
11. Personal data and complaints
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy; cookies in the Cookie Policy. Enquiries and complaints may be sent to contact@chatassist24.com. We will seek a direct resolution. Consumers may also contact the competent consumer authorities or legally available alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
12. Law and jurisdiction
Spanish law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the consumer’s country of residence. Competent courts are determined by the applicable mandatory rules; no clause imposes an invalid exclusive jurisdiction on consumers.
